Check in and check out:

Check-in time is from 1pm to close and check-out time is from open to 1pm. Please check our current hours for open and close times each day. All cats boarded with us are required to have a carrier left at our facility. If a customer does not pick up their cat by the required check out time, and there are no available suites, their cat may be moved from their suite to the carrier they were brought in to await pickup. Conversely, if a customer brings their cat before check-in time and no suites are currently available, their cat may need to wait in their carrier until a kennel is available. We will make every attempt to avoid having a cat wait in their carrier such as having them wait in the playroom if possible. However, if you do not feel you can make our check in/check out times then you may need to consider purchasing an additional night to ensure a reserved kennel space.

Required Vetting:

All cats boarded in our facility must be properly vaccinated, namely the FVRCP vaccine which provides protection for herpes (rhinotracheitis), calicivirus, and panleukopenia, as well as for rabies. Proof of vaccinations must be provided prior to or during check-in. Documents can be uploaded by the customer to their pet profile in Kennelbooker or emailed to casualcatstaff@gmail.com. The Casual Cat Cafe reserves the right to contact the cat's veterinarian to inquire about vaccination status.

Medications:

The Casual Cat Cafe will happily administer medicines which can be placed in a cats food. However, we cannot administer medicines which must be manually inserted into a cats mouth nor can we give medicines via a needle. Further, we may not be able to accommodate strict medical or food schedules outside of our normal hours of operation. For example, twice a day medications will be given at open and close which will not be a full 12 hours apart.

Necessary vet care:

In the case of an emergency, the boarded cat will be taken to the customer’s vet on record and treated at customer's expense. If the vet will not see the cat in a timely manner needed for the emergency, The Casual Cat Cafe may at their discretion decide the cat must be taken to an emergency care or other facility. Customer agrees to reimburse The Casual Cat Cafe for any emergency care costs for their cat.

Rescue Boarding Services:

If you are a volunteer with a 501(c)(3) non-profit rescue group and need a temporary space to house a rescue kitty, we offer 50% off our normal boarding rates for boarding the rescue cat with us during non-peak months (peak months are May, June, November, and December). Discounts are not applied to add-on services and daily postcards may not be provided. Proof of rescue status and that the cat being boarded is available for adoption is required. Also, this service cannot be reserved more than 1 week in advance or reserved for more than 1 week at a time. Cats must be fully vaccinated just as our normal cat guests in order to maintain a clean and healthy environment.
